    I think I understand Marians review ...

    Jilly Chalmers from Scotland

I used to live on the island but returned home to Scotland three years ago. I first started eating in the restaurant before moving to Tenerife while enjoying a holiday in the sun with my family. First impressions were WOW! This place is beautiful! Its situated in such a lovely part of Tenerife, gorgeous surroundings and the scenery is out of this world! Although very pricey I find its worth every penny because its nice to treat yourself once in a while and I think at the Mirador your not just paying for the food but everything else you experience while dining there. The staff have always been excellent and if I had a preference it would be to dine outside downstairs in the restaurant. Very romantic indeed! The food - I have never eaten a bad meal here and the presentation is superb but I can definately say there are other restauarants on the island with much better quality of food. After living in Tenerife for almost one year I experienced that the best dishes were served to you in the most average looking restaurants, usually hidden away from most tourists, sometimes up in the mountain (always avoid the beach front I say) and maybe this is why Marion (above) has gave a bad review of the food. If she lives there then yes she will have most definatley tasted better! Although as I said before your not just paying for the food, there's a lot of other things to take into considerayion too. I DON'T agree on giving the restaurant one star! Highly recommend!!!!!

    Cant Believe Marian

    John Moore from Glasgow, Scotland

I have been coming to Del Duque for the last 10years on my Wedding anniversary and always go to this restaurant. It is superb. Food and service is great. Location is magical. I cannot understand how any sane person could review this as one star. Wouldn't suprise me if she owned the restaurant next door. Trust me and the other reviewers this is superb, you wont be disappointed.

    Très Bon

Marco du Luxembourg Kremer from playa paraíso

    Sorry!!! Food was very dissapointing!!!

    Marian Smith from Tenerife

I live here and go out a lot to try different restaurants. It was my Bday and decided to celebrate, I chose this one because of the reviews...The place very nice, the service good but the food!!!! Very overpriced... same as any menu del dia at any simple restaurant. 18 euros for a plain tasteless Scalopini de Ternera with chips and a simple salad. 18 euros for a piece of Cheese cake???? The place could worth those prices because of its excelent location but the food should be a lot BETTER!!! Give me something worth the place..make it a bit fancier, give some taste!!! Can't understand the previews reviews!!! Have you try good food in the Island???? if you want suggestions I'll be more than happy to help.

Torre Del Mirador, great food and the best night out in the area.

    Dennis Hayes from Manchester England

There is simply nowhere better to go in Costa Adeje than this restaurant. The food and service are always top class. Add to this nightly entertainment if you book downstairs or a fantastic view across the whole bay if you book upstairs and you have the full package. I have been there many times and always enjoyed it immensely.

Pity. Can't afford to go every night!

    ian from tiptree

We eat out most nights when we're in Tenerife and this restaurant has consistently been the best we use, by quite some way too. There quite simply is nothing to fault, provided you don't mind spending a lot on good food and are prepared to book in advance. Worth the four hour plane ride just for this one!

La Torre del Mirador ----Yea ! We all love it

    DOROTHY McKEOWN from COSTA ADEJE

My husband and I have an apartment in Costa Adeje and when we have friends out we always take them to "Torres" It is magical. The staff know us now and are so helpful. Jed in his gazebo provides a real nights entertainment. He is not Irish! (We are!) I think he is from Manchester/Liverpool. He's a great guy and during our meal and after we dance and it is a party atmosphere! I have loads of pictures on my walls and guess where they were taken!! You must sit downstairs at night as it's like being in a cave with all the white lights draping down the walls. Don't visit C/Adeje without eating at "Torres" You will not be disappointed.

    Fantastic. Fantastic Fantastic.

    Helen from Scotland

Everyone who holidays in Costa Adeje must visit the Mirador.Food is great and very reasonable and the whole experience is magical. The hundreds of fairy lights in the downstairs restaurant is a must to see. Jed (from Liverpool)is the musical entertainment and sings songs from the 50s to the 90s.There is nothing to find fault about this restaurant(can't wait to go back)

    Quite simply EXCELLENT

    park from uk

Cannot speak too highly of this establishment. Booking is necessary generally in the evenings. Closed Tuesdays. Absolutely stunning setting, very romantic, with millions of fairylights cascading down rock faces, food is absolutely superb, the service is efficient yet unhurried, great attention to detail and presentation and the staff are upbeat and charming, totally polished and professional yet with a warmth and friendliness so often lacking in tourist resorts. Eat inside upstairs, or outside downstairs. I would recommend outside downstairs every time....sitting in the balmy warmth, hearing the waves crashing on the beach, under cream canvas canopies with lighting that oozes warmth and intimacy. The whole place twinkles. It is a truly quality experience at a very reasonable price and once you are seated you won't want to move until they switch the lights of at the end of the evening. The first time I went I thought I'd died and gone to heaven....it almost brought tears to my eyes. A hopeless romantic I may be, but I will defy you to not agree with me. I will visit this restaurant again and again....its absolutely magical. And guys, if you want a romantic setting for a proposal of marriage, if you do it here, she won't say no!! Please please I urge you to give it a try, you won't be disappointed. And please don't be put off by the live act advertisement on the gate, the guy is brilliant, a lovely soft Irish accent and a lovely singer....he's funny and creates a party atmosphere without being raucous....and if you fancy a dance....you can do that too!! All in all a superb experience....you honestly won't want to leave.....
