Ok, simple pub quiz. What's the most well-known bar in Playa de las Americas? Answer: Linekers. Famed for its celebrity association with crisp-munching footballer Gary, and also with the antics of his infamous brother Wayne, Lineker's is without doubt the first bar you think of when wanting a good, loud, fun and football-showing watering hole in Tenerife. Even when there are no games being shown on the zillions of screens, the place is always jumping with zany DJ's, plenty of games and an equal balance of good-looking chicas and chicos. There are also some not-so-good-looking ones, but we'll pass right on by that fact.

If you're on a brain-bending night out in Playa de las Americas, Linkers should definitely be on the agenda, even just for a quick drop-in to say you've been. The bar staff are quick, witty and pleasingly generous with their dispensing of shots - usually a quick way to find the land of oblivion if you're that way inclined.

This bar was absolutely brillant, i would advise everyone that goes to playa de las americas to go to the linikers bar, the Djs are soooo funny and entertaining.

I have been to 3 different Linekars bars now in Marbella, Algarve and Tenerife and the Tenerife Linekars is definatley the best. Definately the place to go!
