Tenerife Airport Information
Your comprehensive guide to Everything Tenerife
The vast majority of UK visitors will fly into Tenerife’s southern airport, Reina Sofia (there’s another airport in the north, Los Rodeos, but this is mainly for inter-island and Spanish mainland flights). Located about 12 kilometres north of Los Cristianos, the airport is modern but can be a little chaotic.
Taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. Several car hire companies have desks in the arrivals hall, for more info see our page on tenerife airport car hire.
Most of the shops and cafes are located in the departures hall. As well as an ‘English’ pub, you’ll find a fast food court, a newsagent, duty free shops and several souvenir shops. A pharmacy is located in the main terminal building.
There are no internet points, but a wireless connection can be acquired (unofficially) if you sit close to Gate One – don’t tell anybody we told you!
